Gold filled has a thicker bond than gold plated and includes about 100x more gold than gold plated jewelry. In other words, it is next best durable to tarnishing than solid gold. It is also a more affordable option than buying solid gold. our gold jewelry can last you a lifetime if taken properly :)
Yes, silver clay is real silver.
Yes, but not for a very long time. We use 999 fine silver clay which has less copper content than sterling silver, thus it would take even longer. This silver doesn’t turn green though, it only oxidizes. All it would need is some cleaning. :)
The fine silver particles are combined with an organic binder. When the clay is fired, the binder gets burnt off and is only left with the silver metal.
Due to them being handmade, they can potentially be susceptible to breaking, but we would love to help find a solution! Just reach out to us via Instagram or Email :)
